The brief was to link a superhero to an existing food company. We have used this combination to create a collaboration that strengthens the two existing brands. Starbucks and the Black Panther launched a cultural center founded on values of respect and recognition. A unique event of community, belonging, and sharing with the African community. Each week, the center will host a different Starbucks location. During the day, you can enjoy the Starbucks experience in your favorite locations. During evenings, the branch will host lectures, workshops, and enrichment activities with a strong emphasis on African culture and its unique heritage. The workshops will focus on African handicrafts such as sculpting, weaving, and plaiting. The lectures will also cover African culture and history. Starbucks emphasizes and focuses on human connection and creating a community free of distinctions.
